PURGATORIAL SOCIETY

OPEN TO ALL - MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS

The communion of saints is the spiritual solidarity which binds the faithful on earth, the souls in purgatory, and the saints in heaven in the organic unity of the same mystical body under Christ, its head.

The Guild's Purgatorial Society arranges for the offering of Masses for deceased Guild members and families.

Just as we pray for those we love around us, prayers for those in Purgatory hasten their attainment of heaven.

Fraternal companionship in the Guild outlasts worldly life.

Each First Monday, a Mass is offered at Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane for:

The Metropolitan & City Catholic Police Guild, and its Members, living and departed.

Annually, there is a Requiem Mass offered for:

All departed Metropolitan & City Catholic Police Guild members and benefactors.

Those enrolled in the Guild's Purgatorial Society are registered by name, having a Mass offered weekly or monthly specifically for their intentions.

Presently, the Guild has enrolled:

4
